😘 Grandparents are a lady and a man who have no little children of their own!

😘 They like other people's children!

😘 They live at the airport from where we need to pick them up and later drop back too!

😘 A grandfather is a man, and a grandmother is a lady!

😘 They are so old they couldn't play or run!

😘 It is good when they drive us to the shops and give us money!

😘 When they take us for walks, they slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars!

😘 They show us and talk to us about the colors of the flowers and also why we shouldn't step on 'cracks'!

😘 They don't say, 'Hurry up

😘 They wear glasses and funny underwear!

😘 They can take their teeth and gums out!

😘 They have to answer questions like 'Why isn't God married?', and 'How come dogs chase cats?'

😘 When they read to us, they don't skip!

😘 They don't mind if we ask for the same story over and over again!

😘 Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don't have television, because they are the only grownups who like to spend time with us!

😘 They say prayers with us and kiss us even when we've acted bad!

😘 Grandpa is the smartest man on earth!!!

😘 He teaches me good things, but I don't get to see him enough to get as smart as he is!

14 - Letter to God,

Letter to God

Our 14-year-old dog Abbey died last month. The day after she passed away my 4-year-old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to Heaven, God would recognize her.

I told her that I thought that we could, so she dictated these words:

Dear God,

Will you please take care of my dog? Abbey died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I 'm happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick. I hope you will play with her. She likes to swim and play with balls.

I am sending a picture of her so when you see her you will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey & Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it.

Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office.

A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet.

I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed,

'To Meredith' in an unfamiliar hand.

Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, 'When a Pet Dies.' Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help and I recognized her right away. Abbey isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep your picture in so I'm sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me.

What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much.

By the way, I'm easy to find. I am wherever there is love.

This is the smallest Monkey in the world

and He is the Biggest Monkey in the World

The Cutest Monkey in the world is the Chimpanzee

Then we have some other very big Monkeys too like

Orangutan

They look Big and scary but are quite Friendly like us humans

and we have even bigger Monkeys

This fellow is Called a Gorilla

and even Thatha is scared of him.

BIRDIE NUM NUM STORY

Gi Gi Bear I want to tell you Birdie Num Num Story today

Every Day is Beautiful and some Days are even more beautiful when special things happen, like the day you were born Sweety Pie.

One Morning Thatha was asleep and Dida woke him up saying "Come quick to the Garden". There is a Baby Parrot in the Garden and Lilo is trying to Catch him.

Thatha hurried into the Garden looking for Baby Parrot but Could not find him at first.

Thatha Kept Looking and there he was afraid and hiding. Lucky Lilo did not Catch him.

He was so cute.

Thatha Picked him up and Placed in inside a big black plastic bin where he was safe, gave him some cooked rice to eat and water to drink and sent Lilo inside

He was scared at first

After a while we could see he was Happy.

Thatha Decided to call him,

"Birdie Num Num"

To make NumNum safer

Thatha put the Bin on a Table

Thatha Whistled at Birdie and Birdie made a lot of fearful cries at first and after a while he started to talk back.

Then Birdie wanted a selfie with Thatha

Evening Came and it was going to get Dark soon so Thatha took birdie in his hands and inside home

Birdie Num Num trusted Thatha and felt safe in his Hands

Num Num started to Pose for Photos Like GiGi Bear

Thatha had to keep him very safe at night, so he made Birdie Num Num stay inside a deep Clothes Bin with a Lid so he could not escape and get into trouble
